Tallinn, Estonia

Thank you for attending the

14th Pan-European Voice Conference

Cracked Surface

The Pan European Voice Conference (PEVoC) was first initiated in 1995 by Johan Sundberg and Gunnar Rugheimer. The idea was to create a forum, where specialists from all around the world interested in the human voice and its workings could meet and share their discoveries and practical experiences biannually. PEVoC has taken place in nine countries all around Europe. The good attendance at these conferences shows that PEVoC meets a need and the scientific quality of the presentations is a manifestation of the fact that much interesting and important voice research is being done in Europe.

To promote the scientific quality of PEVoC presentations an Advisory Committee composed of experts in the various fields of voice has been established. Their responsibility is to encourage all people interested in voice to participate in PEVoC and to see that European vocal pedagogues present their recent findings at PEVoC.

WELCOME

We hope you are well and that we will see you at the end of August in Tallinn at PEVoC14!

Although we are all worried and horrified by the Russian attack on Ukraine, we believe our international cooperation and the common work in our fields are now more important than ever. The community can support each other by coming together and not letting the world stop spinning.
So we will proceed with organising the conference and we plan to have a very fruitful PEVoC14 conference in Tallinn.

Despite such an aggressive neighbour, Estonia is a valued member of the EU and NATO. Therefore, the threat level here is moderate and the situation is not much different from that of Finland, for example.

COVID-19 restrictions in Estonia are about to be decreased or lifted completely. This year, Tallinn will host many postponed and new cultural, academic, and sporting events.

Our international Scientific Committee, our esteemed keynote speakers, and of course the local Organising Committee are working hard to bring this year's PEVoC to life, so please join us!

As the success of the conference is based on your active participation, please spread the word!
Your abstracts for sessions, workshops, and roundtables are most welcome.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Tallinn!
